We talked to a lot of builders before hiring Gary and helen to build our new house. From the beginning they had a positive attitude about our project and gave us the confidence he and his crew had the experience and knowledge to get it done. Throughout the process Gary was very organized. He kept the project moving along and made sure work was done when scheduled, and was done right. Gary has a talented and hard-working crew,. they all had a commitment to doing quality work. Gary is good at solving problems when they arise, and he went out of his way to make sure we got all the features we wanted.

Whenever we were on the site the crew were courteous and cheerful. They kept the construction site clean and did a thorough cleanup at the end of the week so the site was spotless on the weekends. Gary either called or met with us every week to let us know what was going on with the project and discuss any issues. He was easy to reach by phone or email and always returned messages promptly.

Gary is very personable and easy to work with. He is committed to making sure his clients get what they want. Looking back we are glad we chose Gary for our project. We are very happy with the finished product and are enjoying the results of their hard work. Gary was honest about the costs and was fair with his prices. Thanks again.

Recently, the building of our beautiful new home in Havelock North was completed by Garhel Homes. We have been exceptionally happy with the service provided by Gary and Helen right from our first enquiry and throughout the entire process. The end product is delightful and we couldn’t have hoped for anything more in our new home.

The additional challenge of having us live abroad did not take away from the level of attention that we were provided and Gary and Helen were more than happy to deal with us at a distance. With only two face to face to meetings of a few hours each from initial enquiry to building completion, we still managed to achieve a home to our specifications with their outstanding assistance. Gary and Helen were very prompt when it came to answering our questions and the team were only too happy to take the extra time to look at various options, send samples and go above and beyond what we would imagine most designers and builders would be prepared to do.
